It is found that the type and process of grinding have great effect on physical characteristics of sepiolites. The samples collected after dry grinding experiments performed against time were analyzed by SEM. It is shown that with increasing grinding period, the fibre structure of sepiolite disappears whereas viscosity of its suspension decreases.
